Security Features,

  • Friction hinges tested to the equivalent of 55 years use, the stainless steel hinge helps to secure the window and creates a weather proof seal.

  • Locking wedge, a locking wedge is fitted to the hinge side of a window, if over a certain size, and this helps to secure the frame and improve weather-ability.

  • Security locking handle Designed for looks and security, our handles are tested for long term performance, carry an extensive guarantee, and include a 'click' and key lock security feature.

  • 'Grip' central lock The twin central lock effectively grips the opener to the frame and protects against jemmy attacks.

  • Internal corner grips screwed to both the horizontal and vertical sections of the window for additional security. This also provides a night ventilation position to improve airflow into the home.

  • Shootbolt and roller locking Strong shootbolts secure the opening corners of the window. Supported by rollers, the lock creates a tight, compressed seal.

  • Internal beading unless specified, all windows are glazed from the inside so the glass cannot be removed from the outside.
